MISSION STATEMENT

Many adults learn best and can accept ideas in the form of stories. True stories told as recollections to inform the community and the young are as old as the species Homo Sapiens. This collection of video stories from the field include examples of:
  • Governance issues.
  • Community empowerment.
  • Law and order.
  • Traditional justice.
  • Managing programs in a hostile environment.
  • Managing development programs in a strongly cross-cultural setting.
  • The effect of International expectations on local communities, and many more challenges.

This collection of personal recollections emphasises peace, conflict resolution and sustainable governance as the starting point and necessary enabler of all other development projects. Local organic growth and acceptance of differing local emphasis is fundamental to the stories told.

The aim of these stories is to condition the ethos of actors facing similar challenges. Actors who seek to be leaders in these areas will need mentoring and follow up activities. These will be offered as the way ahead for this initiative.

The videos are offered pro bono to all interested parties and are expressly forbidden to be used for profit.

Follow up activities depending on scale and cost may be subject to charges primarily on a cost recovery basis.
